Hi Jan:
It is not new, however it looks like new; I bought it for condition,
size and good price; you are right, it just goes up to 6x6; I'm 35mm and 6x6
photographer and then no problem; I really preferred a 6x9 enlarger, I have an
old 6x9 camera and perhaps I'll buy a Mamiya 23 outfit soon, but I have the
digital prints option, 6x9 negs are very good to scan with flatbed
scanners.Kaiser is still manufacturing enlargers, the VP 6000 is discontinued,
the current model is the VP 6005 System V B&W enlarger, it looks almost
identical.
'glad you are enjoying your vacation in spite of the "no photography" signs.
