I was one of the list members who wrote about the
3.5B or MX-EVS some years ago. There were three steps and three 3.5B
versions according the EVS evolution: 1) The EVS was always engaged. 2) The
EVS could be disengaged whilst pressing a button on the f stops wheel. 3)
The EVS can be engaged or disengaged at will turning a tab on the f stops
wheel.
The very firsts units were engraved "Germany" on the _left f stops wheel_
and they are rare indeed, I have seen it twice in the auction site and two
or three photographs; this is a photograph in one of my blogs:
