I am normally in the background picking up information from the bits and
pieces that are being presented. I am, constantly, amazed about the way the
pieces fill in the blanks in camera history.
The sharing is participation not bickering. Various items which appear to
be correct are clarified by different information supported by qualitative
authority. This demonstrates an intellectual pursuit.
I think it is unfortunate when a new member fails to understand the process
and seeks to criticize or change it. Perhaps, it is best for such a person
to stay in the background and benefit from information of interest or leave.
Marc runs a good user forum and steps in when the emails get out of line.

Well,
it's only been a few weeks since I rejoined the list(s), and already
it's time for vacation.
In that short time, I got a clear reminder of why I didn't bother
rejoining after last year's holiday (endless pointless bickering over
20 grams of weight here or there that have nothing whatsoever to do
with anything, as if life isn't short enough already not to
concentrate on important matters), as well as why these two lists are
great places to hang out (Bob's great stories, Richard's seemingly
endless knowledge, Daniel and Sanders wonderful shots, as well as all
the others - you all know who you are, I can't name everyone....)
So I'll be weighing over the next few weeks while away (with my
6008i2 and newly acquired Super-Angulon 40/3.5, among others) whether
there's sufficient signal to make the noise merely a nuisance, and
not a reason to go somewhere else.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable summer and gets a few keepers,
whatever that might be to you :-).
