Last week-end I used the Rolleiflex Sl 35, the first 35mm SLR made by
Rollei in 1970, it was designed by Rollei R&D from the scratch, they
needed to circumvent several Japanese patents to build the camera.
Good camera to hold and to shoot, the body design was abandoned after the
SL 350 to adapt older and bulkier bodies from Voigtländer/Zeiss Ikon (SL
35 M and ME) due to Rollei bought Voigtländer.; The SL 35 E and SL 2000
arrived too late.
These two photographs were taken with the Planar 1,8/50 HFT and Kodak
Ultramax 400 35mm color negaive film:
