I had commented a few days ago about the 1953 Stereo Rolleiflex prototype and the email exchange I had with one of this camera main designer, Hans Logé, via his son because Mr Logé does not write English. I also commented he sent me a stereo photograph taken with the prototype (one of the three was sold for $30,000 in January 2004), Hans Logé's son post in November 2004 said (I' was authorized to comment about this issue): "...Especially he was surprised that there is still a prototype of the stereo camera existing, and about the price of it. Attached you will find an old photo, made with one of the prototypes of that stereo camera. My father and a collegue of him could use it during holidays in Bavaria (My father is sitting in the window)..." I uploaded to one of my blogs that photograph, I must say that I received another post afterward saying that perhaps the photograph was taken with a Heidoscop that F&H allowed the R&D area members to use, I take the first version, it's a Rollei stereo image for any case (click on thumbnail, 1615 x 778 image): http://itarphotos.blogspot.com/ You can see the Rolleiflex Stereo camera prottyoe here: http://johnsrolleionlypage.homestead.com/stereorolei.jpg Carlos --- Rollei List - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx - Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Unsubscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Online, searchable archives are available at //www.freelists.org/archives/rollei_list
