Thanks. If the Rollei 35 was made after September 1968, no UV
rays problem.
It seems high index glasses have some disadvantages like chromatic
aberration and to use four high index elements for a Tessar type lens
design could filter the UV rays but they could cause other problems (I
think).

Hi Carlos -
Interesting info and nice shot. I have a 35 German and never noticed
the UV situation but my shooting with the camera was limited...I have
a difficult time with the ergonomics and once I got a Yashica T4 Super
with Tessar and then a Contax T2 with Sonnar I never looked back.
Your note about the Tessar and high index glass jogged my memory of
something Kingslake wrote and that stuck with me...
