I can vouch both for Bill Maxwell’s loquaciousness and the outstanding
quality of his screens. I have one on all my screen focusing cameras
(rollieflex TLRs, sl66 and on my 5x7 deardorff).
The brightness is just astounding.

(ex rollei-list member). Bill seems to know about everyone connected to
Rollei and beyond.
He also told me he is going to shut down the formal screen making businss
in about a year to focus on other things. So, if anyone still wants to to
take the plunge and buy one of those bright screens, better contact him.
The screens are quite expensive, about 3 times what they were when I bought
my first one from him and BiIl is quite eloquent explaining why that is.
I figured it will last me a long time in my SL66 and make focussing,
especially with the 500 mm TT much more of a pleasure.
