Hello Carlos,
That is so interesting that the ship in the image was your ship, I assume you
were the captain? That must be so interesting although I am sure as most things
that you do a over and over it will lose it’s lustre. I have been wanting to
visit Argentina for a long time, so hopefully we will do that next year.
Regards,
Louis

Thank you for the kind comment Louis; it was my ship, the Costa Fascinosa,
Costa Concordia's twin but with a better captain. Cruise ships are around at
the south of South America in the austral summer, from the beginning of
December up to March ending, but the pandemia changed things for a while. They
offer interesting tours, to Antarctica in the south and to Salvador de Bahia in
the north; Tierra del Fuego en Argentina and the Chilean fjords. Only the big
cities have facilities to receive these monsters; otherwise, they drop anchor
close to shore and lower the lifeboats to transport the passengers back and
forth to shore, these short trips are little adventures themselves. I hope you
and your wife could be on a South American cruise soon.Carlos

Nice image Carlos! I like the cruise ship in the distance! Maybe not so many
of those of your coast at the moment. My wife and I were originally planning to
be on a South American cruise in Feb this year. Maybe in 2022.

A few years ago I took a sea trip from Buenos Aires city to Rio de Janeiro
city, also visiting other places on the Uruguayan and Brazilian coast, I have
already uploaded many of the images taken during it to my gallery on Flickr and
some of them were published in the Club Rollei Users magazine. The weather did
not prevent us from enjoying the trip, but almost every day was cloudy and
rainy from time to time.I had not uploaded this photograph yet; it was taken
