And there's also "Die Rolleicord-Fibel", from 1936, 1938 and 1954, by Wolf H.
Döring.
These books, especially "Das Rolleiflex Buch", are informative and still
helpful for USERS. If an amateur bought a Rolleiflex Standard, the 77 year old
"Rolleiflex Buch" from 1932 would be informative and give inspiration. The
camera is still usable, and the accessories can be found on the used market. :-)
When I bought my Rolleicord II, first type, it was from a camera store that
bought it from a widow. Her husband had bought the camera new in 1936 and was
still in mint condition. I bought it, plus the accessories, his Rolleiflex Buch
and Rolleicord-Fibel plus brochures. He had underlined some words in the books,
and made notes. The books that gave him inspiration in the 30's inspired me
more than half a century later.
