"Dox Why Worry", my horse, was keenly aware of time and he did not even have a time piece. For years he led a trail ride. The morning ride usually returned at 1pm. I noticed if we were running late he would speed up the ride and if we were early he slowed it down. I started changing the return departure time; Dox could make up over five minutes when I left late. The amazing thing was that he could always return at 1pm. He was also very keen about keeping track of meal time and he was very good at reminding me that it was time. Is time that moment when perception begins to become an event? Could it be that all of what we seen as sequential processes actually exist together, that is simutaneously, although that word implies the existence of time. Since the speed of light is finite and since our awareness of events is dependant on our detection of them that awareness is also limited by this limit. Perhaps the laws of thermodyamics are illusory. -- Richard Knoppow Los Angeles, CA, USA dickburk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx --- Rollei List - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx - Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Unsubscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Online, searchable archives are available at //www.freelists.org/archives/rollei_list --- Rollei List - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx - Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Unsubscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Online, searchable archives are available at //www.freelists.org/archives/rollei_list
