The 795 is the same electronics with a drawknob console vice tabs for stop selection. I never had a polyphony problem. I don't think the organ has any problem with polyphony. Probably a competitor trying to bad-mouth Rodgers is where that rumor came from. Perhaps if someone attaches an external synthesizer to the MIDI pistons, there may be a polyphonal problem in the external synthesizer. I had an Allen MDS Expander II attached to my 790 with no problems whatsoever.
