Ken Lists responds humorously to comments on another list about an eBay
offering
that was described as typed above.
Dear LIST -
Several of you have written what I interpret as somewhat unkindly words
about the interesting description of the Rodgers Model 725 electronic
organ (not a digital) offered for sale on eBay as Auction # 2545104706.
Some of you may not know that for a period of some years from 1979 into
the eighties, I was on the Hillsboro Staff of the Rodgers Company (that
partly accounts for the fact that I NEVER spell their name "Rogers")
partly in charge of part of the pipe-augmented production, and serving
as so-called tonal director. I also on occasion served as an aide in
the writing of advertising and descriptive literature.
Those words: "a butifull consel electric keyboard organ" were actually
originally written by me, and represent my form of description and
spelling just after the destructive explosions of Mount St. Helen's,
which I could view form the parking lot at Roggers. And I did do dat.
So I thik you are al being realy unkindlie, and but I will forgiv yu
awl, sincs faleing to do so migt triger a relasp of my spelllingg
meladee.
