Well, I'm not from Texas (but I do wear cowboy boots) and I have always said
Gems (like gate or goat.) Regardless, I keep the alternate voice on my 577
great defaulted to Gemshorn (which is the alternate) and only change back to
the Rohrflote on solo or small flute ensemble registrations.
