It might be helpful for all to understand: Your local salesperson and tech work for the local Rodgers Representative, also called a dealer. Rodgers Representatives (dealers) are entrusted with a territory and responsible for sales and service. They, not Rodgers, pay the sales people and techs. If you have a problem, the local dealer is under the care and feeding of regional sales rep who does work for Rodgers. A couple of them are on the list, and they are all very competent and knowledgeable. The regional sales rep works for the VP of sales at Rodgers. Whom I suppose responds to the President of Rodgers. For those who have been in the military, we (ok, I was drafted) were taught we could not go straight to a general with a complaint or a problem. We had to work our way up through the chain of command. If our problem were not solved at each level, we could go higher. That's probably a good way to deal with problems in any situation. But if you have a problem Rodgers wants to know about it and help you get a solution. Your regional sales rep has more time for dealing with your situation than a higher up....but don't let that stop you from going higher for help. I'm a local salesperson. I run a users group I started for my customers. Only two joined the list! So I guess the list is a failure if the original plan for the list failed! But, the Users Group is not and never will be a forum where people can send messages that get other people in hot water. I have a customer, who, if you ever talked with her, would very politely, in Southern lady mode, tell you that I am not fit to sell pigs, much less organs. The church did not buy the Hammond she wanted so she is crucifying me as a result. If she were on this list and were to post... But, the Users Group is not and never will be a forum where people can send messages that get other people in hot water. If many of us are going to burn, based upon some beliefs, it's better to burn later than now. And I'm not stoking the fire.
