Allen, It is likely that the bulb is OK. More likely the connecting wire is broken. They tend to break right at the solder connection to the bus after several thousand cycles. Some times the wire looks intact because the insulation is still attached. Just clear it away, strip off a bit of wire and reattach with a low wattage solder iron (keep that iron away from the keys!!). If the bulb is truly burned out, it is easier to replace the piston in its entirety.... unless you really like a bit of a challenge with a small pair of needle nose pliers.
