Lee,
I bought some 3" I.D. blue tube direct from Always Ready Rocketry:

Better than cardboard IMHO. I used to to make a payload bay & coupler for my
dual-stage rocket project, joining two 3" cardboard models from LOC
Precision. The blue tube diameter is almost exactly the same as the LOC 3"
cardboard and is much stronger. I definitely recommend it over cardboard;
it's easy to work with an only a little more expensive.
Also available from Apogee:

Hope this helps

Does anyone know anyone out there that sells 3”ID - 48” long cardboard or
phenolic tubes? Prefer cardboard.
Thanks
