Mike,
Waiting isn't so much an issue on the pad. Battery should be good enough for a
couple hours, maybe more. The issue is how hard the rocket is to find after
landing, and how long the TX will continue to send after landing if it takes
awhile to get to it.

Thanks Cris, Mike,
BTW, That is the beauty of hybrids, no waiting on the pad ;)

Mike,
I'm assuming you're talking about a rocket where you're space constrained.
It's doable. I had a 38mm rocket that I put a TX and a Quark in. If the
battery is fully charged, and you don't have to wait too long on the pad, there
shouldn't be any issues.

Any (good) reason not to use the same battery for an altimeter and egg
finder? I have an av bay with a Perfectflite Stratologger and one with
a Missileworks RRC3. I was thinking of adding an eggfinder and using a
2S lipo, 400mAh to power them both. The altimeter would have its own
power switch so I can let the tracker power up and lock in before going
to the pad.
Thoughts?
