I have had good experiences with Gast brand pumps. You'll want a positive
displacement type. I also recommend the diaphragm type since they don't
introduce any oil into the system.
I've used them for degassing adhesives as well as vacuum bagging composite
parts.

I am going to be purchasing a vacuum pump in the near future and there
seems to be quite a few options.

- testing of electronics in a chamber.
I am not necessarily looking for the best price. I am looking for a pump
that will meet my needs and not be something I need to worry about not
performing as expected.
