Hello ROC Members:
The following is a request from a scout troop in Rancho Santa
Margarita. Anybody who is interested in helping out, please contact me
and/or scoutmaster Scott Welsh <scbjwelsh -at- cox.net> :
Troop 818 would like to invite 1 or 2 members of the Rocketry Club to
join us a Troop meeting on May 24th 2011 to discuss what the club does,
show the Scouts some Rockets up to possibly an E size, Discuss safety
and provide some advice for purchasing and making there own Rockets for
the RocStock event. We are hoping to get the boys interested in the
event and get them to make their own smaller rockets for the event. We
are located in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. and will only need about 30
minutes of your time, either before our Troop meeting at 6:30pm or after
the meeting at 8pm.
Please advise if this is possible.
