Being able to bend is over-rated. That's what you hire the kids for. Glad
you're doing well.

Hi Chris!
Thanks for asking. Yes, I'm on the mend, looking forward to making
it to the November ROCstock, but I'm hoping I'll be able to make a launch
sooner.
So, after this 4th surgery, my back is fused from the base of the
spine (S-1) up to T-12. I don't bend so good anymore.

Phil,

Missed you at RocStock. How did the back surgery go? I hope it went well
and that you are on the mend.

Hi! Open Rocket is great. It will open a ROCsim file, but you may not be
able to save the results. At leas, I haven't figured out how to do that.
The latest version will also allow tube fins, pretty cool.

OpenRocket will open RockSim files usually without any issues.

Thank you!

I?ve noticed the kits often have ROCsim data downloads. Any issues loading
that into Open Rocket?

OpenRocket is great. You really only need Rocksim if you are building
something with tube fins, pods, etc.

I have a project in mind for the November launch and would like to use
something like ROCsim although it?s seems pricey for the level I?m
currently at. Has anyone use Open Rocket or similar?

Thanks!
