No but I have A HeliCat that is modified so the heli and thrust sections
glow!

The log loiter time of the heli part is great fun!

I have not flown it in a long time but it was very easy to make!

I also modified a HeliCat with LED on the blade tips. That one looks cool.

I am hoping to have my grandchildren build and fly a set at Rock Stock.

These are inexpensive Scout level projects.

Maybe we can get a helicat drag race going?

Subject: [roc-chat] Glow Stick Releasing Rocket for night flight

Does anyone know who built the rocket that ejects the glow sticks. The
rocket that was flown at LDRS 29 and at Roctober last year which ejected
glow sticks for the kids to retrieve?

Or, how the ejection of the glow sticks worked?

Me too, had one from day one, It broke, sent it back and never saw it again,
been over 6 years now, lots of "oh yes we are sending you one" but nothing
ever came of it.

I am using an RDAS now, had no problems, but would have likes to see how the
control was?

I've had a control since the month it came out... but somehow it was DOA and
I just never got it fixed. That was like 5 years ago or so..

If you have a flight computer you need no addtional electronics. As
an example Control has 4 chanels, you can use two for dual deploy, one
for airstarts and the last for 'chute release with no addtional
systems.
