[realmusicians] listening to audio on YouTube

hi listers
for some very odd reason , I can't hear audio on youtube. the Adobe Flash
object is installed , the progress counter shows as if the video is playing ,
but no sound.
of course I do hear windows sounds , screen reader speech , and other things
from my windows default audio device; just YouTube doesn't sound.
any ideas?
