[realmusicians] automation and delay

Hello, all, I'm hoping you can help me. I have a R&B project I'm finishing up
with and I need some advice. In the verse of the song there are two frazes
that I want delay on I using automation to take the delay in and out of other
parts in the song. However, the fraze I want to be delayed is really close to
other words in the verse and I don't have time to turn down the bus send with
out ketching the fraze directly after in the delay as well. I also notest that
turnning the send down also turned down the delay any. waySo here is my
question. How can I get a delay on just a cupple words at a time? Any ideas
will be grate. Thanks Guys.
