Hey Reg,

Here's an idea, if Jim doesn't mind. Why not use the Real-Eyes chat room to
host a couple of training sessions on Open Book? You can talk people through
the basics live and in e-person. <grin>

Openbook 8 was a pretty significant upgrade, and a new version should come
out this fall. There are newer versions of the scanning engines, it uses
the same Eloquence as jaws, and you can adjust things and reerecognize the
page if you don't like the way it scans the first time. If you go to the
Openbook page on our web site there's a what's new file that will tell you
about the changes. I think the upgrade is worth the minimal cost.

Hi Reg, I am just wondering, I have Open Book, version 7.02. I have not
updated it since I got it, and I wonder what some of the reasons to update
to the latest version would be. Thanks for your input on Open book, which
still seems miraculous to me when I use it to read print, Ginnie
