Go to properties of this account, in OE, and to the advanced tab and set the
outgoing port to 465 and check, this server requires a secure connection. the
click ok and try to send a message.

Subject: [real-eyes] Outlook Express

Hi Everyone,
I am currently using the Outlook Express on my Windows XP on my Dell laptop. I
do also have Gmail for myself.

With the Outlook Express with my GMail that I noticed on my Outlook Express is
acting weird behavor with my GMail. It will not let me to send outgoing mail
at all on the Outlook Express.

Do I need to change the outgoing port number?

Is there a problem with between Outlook Express and Gmail?

Do I need to change my email program for GMail? If yes, which email program
would you recommend for me to use with the Gmail.

I did check on my GMail on the webmail that everything is fine from there.
That is why I need to make sure that I need to change the email program. I
have tried to get the program fix but I can't get the problem resolve on my
Outlook Express.

Thank you,

Scott
