Okay--so it's not the media player within the Maestro. Wow is that ever = great news! Now--I just purchased this card reader. Is it the card = reader (the thing you plug into the USB port), having the problem, or is = it the little card itself? Hopefully, best case scenario, it's the card. = Kimberly -----Original Message----- From: real-eyes-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:real-eyes-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Reginald George Sent: Thursday, October 05, 2006 11:35 AM To: real-eyes@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [real-eyes] Re: Maestro PDA question Hi Kimberly, Bad news. Your card is temporarily corrupted. Probably there is = nothing=20 physically wrong with it. You can try running check disk on it from = your=20 computer but, that probably won't fix the files. You will probably have = to=20 reformat the card and recopy the files. Recently I bought an 8GB flash=20 drive and, I have continued to have problems with it no matter what I = do.=20 Turns out the drive itself was corrupted. Usually just a format and = reload=20 will solve the issue. Even though the files look like they are the = right=20 size they fill up with zeros. I can imagine how the folks with digital=20 cameras feel when their pictures won't open. ----- Original Message -----=20 From: "Kimberly A. I'm = having a=20 challenge with regard to the media player. Perhaps someone will have a=20 solution I can try. I bought a card reader and last night I loaded up = some=20 Mp3 files, which the media player in my Pda is supposed to accept. The = files=20 play successfully on the computer, so I know they're working correctly. = But=20 when I click "enter" on any of the Mp3 files I loaded into the storage = card=20 on the Pda, none of them play. They all list out; they just don't play. = I=20 went into file properties, and it gives the correct number of megs for = each=20 Mp3 file, but then it says "duration, 0 seconds". I know there's = something=20 really simple I'm just not thinking of that will get this thing working. = Any=20 thoughts would be very much appreciated.
