I'm not sure what the benefit would be of having more storage as I'm
sure you can't keep the content forever or transfer it to other devices.
I bought the fire stick as it meets my needs. We don't have a 4k tv and
while I've got an 8 port wired switch sitting under the area where our
tv is, wifi is fast enough for streaming content.

I looked at a comparison chart on Amazon for the Fire Stick and the Fire Tv.
Fire Stick is $39 Fire tv is $89
Fire stick is wifi only Fire Tv has an ethernet jack& does wifi too Fire
stick does up to 1080p resolution Fire Tv does up to 4k resolution Fire
stick doesn't have expandable memory Fire tv has expandable memory.
Fire stick has casual games Fire tv has high performance games
They both have the same processor the Fire Tv has more ram for processing.
They both have the accessibility support and alexa via the included remote.

So I'll be ordering one from Amazon. As of last night they are back
ordered until April 20 something but knowing how things like that
have worked in the past on amazon, I won't be shocked to find they
get them back in stock in a week or so.
