[real-eyes] Checking into accessibility of a Sony digital recorder for a blind friend

I have a blind friend in North Carolina who was given a Sony digital audio
recorder for her birthday. She can't get it to talk and she can't figure out
how to manipulate the buttons. Does anyone know if the following recorder is
accessible?:
