I thought we would simply move the entire layout until the runway lined up

Put a couple thoroughbreds in and you could call it Lexington Bluegrass
Airport!

Well you caught me. In order to make the runway signs I downloaded actual
FAA training materials to create the runway signs on photo paper. So, 4-22
was the runway designation chosen by the FAA for their materials. I just
copied it for convenience. Photoshop allowed me to adjust the color and
size 🙂.
Cordially,
Jack

Jack, is 4/22 a runway that’s a favorite of yours?

Tom,
I can drop by your house around 8:30 am tomorrow morning to pick up the
key. I want to measure the module I will be working on. Let me know if
that works If anyone wants to run trains, I can stay from 9 am to 12 pm

Peter dropped off the key. I have a commitment to help put shelves in a
closet tomorrow morning. Need to firm up that time.
If someone wants to swing by and pick up the key, no problem. Depends on
how the shelves go. I may or may not be able to make it

Dave…….as announced, I’m leaving for Baltimore Saturday AM…..and will be
back early Sunday…………..I have given Tom the key.
If you, or anyone would like to organize a run session, I’m sure you can
get the key from him.
……and to update everyone else, I will be in town Monday and Tuesday next
week…….then leaving for Philly on Weds (my son is getting married on the
14th)…..
I return either late Sunday the 15th or Monday the 16th.
We have our regular meeting on Saturday the 21st from 9-11 with a public
run session immediately following from 11-3.
I have updated Mark and he is put it on the Westchester Commons
website…..it’s on our website and FaceBook page.
I presented Mark with a River City 3 Railers logo-applied polo shirt show
our appreciation…..he liked it very much.
The week of the 16th, we need to spiff up the bathrooms…..so I’d love some
volunteers to help me clean them….please look at your schedules.

Jack,
You addition provides additional dimension to the layout.
Question for the Group – since tomorrow (Saturday) is going to be a rainy
day, will the storefront be opened to run trains?

Kudos to Jack on his new Airport scenery.
I took some pics of the new station module rock face and tunnel portals.
Carl came in and laid out his update plans.
Here are some pics…..starting out with Jack’s module before the
transformation……
