Peter,
I have two of the plastic frames if you want to use those for the signs. Just
let me know.

The days/times were on the Flyers…….I will have posters there before 0900 to
reflect what was on the Flyers
This is what I had……
Come Run Your Classic 3 Rail Train with Us
The Public is invited to bring their 3 rail train to run with us. We have set
up times and
weekends for this fun activity: the weekends of December 21/22 and January
11/12.
Run times are the last hour of operation on Saturday’s and both the first and
last hours
of operation on Sunday’s.
I hate to do it, but it becomes too chaotic if we do it ad lib, especially
without a functional yard.
We also have a lot of members….all of whom deserve to run their trains…..10
minute time limit is what we agreed to.

Thank you Peter and Rick. Great memory, great reminder. Damage to the layout
(including Geezer Gorge) prompted this.
There is a young fellow that I spoke with at SMR who wants to join. He had run
with us in the past. Now a HS graduate and working a job (18+ yr old) , wants
to pay dues and run in December. I did tell him that the prorate for Dec only
is $7.

Per the minutes from the last meeting,
Peter Condro proposed that we offer people to bring their own trains during the
least busy times; the last hour Saturday and the first and last hours Sunday.
Time limit 10 minutes. Peter will make posters reflecting this offering.
.
Nobody has opposed the minutes so I'm going on the understanding that we all
agreed to limiting when people can run their own trains.
Respectfully,

Reminder: this was discussed and approved at our meeting a couple months ago.
Non-club members are only allowed to run trains during the first hour or the
last hour of certain days. Someone will have to clarify that again for the
group.
The group approved that and the group needs to stand united on that.
Today, opening night:
A young boy that I remember seeing a lot last year came up to me to say “Hi.”
He’s very excited that we are here. He asked if I would be here tomorrow. I
said, “No.”
He said, “I will be here tomorrow to run some trains.”
I said, “The rules have changed this year for non-club members running their
trains.“
He said, “ Some of the guys will always let me run trains.“
I said, “you will have to check with some of the guys, I believe that has
changed. It is now only the first hour or the last hour of the day on certain
days.“
If anyone does not abide by the rule we agreed to it’s going to make it very
difficult for all the rest of us for the eight weeks we are here.
