Reminder: this was discussed and approved at our meeting a couple months
ago. Non-club members are only allowed to run trains during the first hour
or the last hour of certain days. Someone will have to clarify that again
for the group.
The group approved that and the group needs to stand united on that.
Today, opening night:
A young boy that I remember seeing a lot last year came up to me to say
“Hi.” He’s very excited that we are here. He asked if I would be here
tomorrow. I said, “No.”
He said, “I will be here tomorrow to run some trains.”
I said, “The rules have changed this year for non-club members running
their trains.“
He said, “ Some of the guys will always let me run trains.“
I said, “you will have to check with some of the guys, I believe that has
changed. It is now only the first hour or the last hour of the day on
certain days.“
If anyone does not abide by the rule we agreed to it’s going to make it
very difficult for all the rest of us for the eight weeks we are here.
