Numerous individuals have searched both trailers looking for the DCS remotes.
Two belong to the club, and one belongs to Ben Swann. I have sent multiple
email inquiries to RC3R members; with no success. At this point we have to
assume that these remotes are no longer in the possession of RC3R, or its
members.
The board and several members discussed this situation at the train show last
Saturday. Remotes will no longer be manufactured by MTH. Tiny Tim's still have
a few. We have asked Russell Youens to send Dexter Oliver an invoice for two
(2). One (1) will be returned to Ben Swann. The remaining will be the sole club
DCS remote for the big layout. We will make every effort to have the DCS WiFi
operational in time for the Science Museum. Members may also bring their
remotes from home. Mark your remotes.
If you are in opposition, please let the us know ASAP. Please do not respond
unless you disagree. EMAILS RECEIVED ON THIS TOPIC WILL BE COUNTED AND
TABULATED AS A "NAY". IF THERE ARE 14 OR MORE "NAYS", WE WILL NOT COMPLETE THIS
PURCHASE.
