Shooting the air show at Wendover.  O yeah; they had a car show, too!  My 70-300 vr does  marvelously... I can't believe I am handholding 450mm and getting sharp pixes... but I find I am steady near horizontal, but get REALLY unsteady as the airplanes approach straight up.

I've tried everything, but especially at the end of the day, when I'm tired, I get more unsteady.

Any suggestions?  C.
