It has been a day off for me. Yesterday, we sold my daily driver for rain
and winter, the 1987 Monte Carlo SS. My winter beater is now Cindy's work
car the 1999 Pathfinder. We bought it at 33K miles, and it has 160K on it
now. It has been the best car we have ever owned. I only drive 7 minutes
each way to work, so it should last a lot longer than having her drive it
all day every day.

We bought her an ice blue Mini Cooper Clubman. It's cute as a button. Sorry
to push non beer drinkers in to thinking about beer... but we got some
celebratory brews. Here was the shot for the day... other than documenting
it's arrival, and taking a few shots with no door dings or bird poop. It
will work out great for her, and she looks real cute in it. Cindy has owned
her own pet sitting business for 8 years. This car, although it has
payments, will be much easier on the gas for her. Cindy's former favorite
cars were her 1986 Chevette 5 speed, and her 1992 BMW 325i. This is kind of
a combo of those favs. It is a 6 speed, and rides and drives like a BMW.

In this picture, we see the new Mini and the heads we just replaced from
the old Monte in my garage together with 3 different craft brews. Hop Rod
Rye specialty Ale, Krank Shaft Kolsch style, and Racer 5 India Pale Ale. I
may only drink one or 2 in a day, but I like it to be tasty. The Car theme
just came about by accident, but it works. Hope you like it

Cheers,
JC
