Also, some versions of Linux have a setup wizard that interferes with
getting started on first boot.
I have gotten around this by plugging the SD card into a computer with Linux
on it and going to the folder where the .desktop file is, seems like the
problem file is called wizard.desktop.
I'd have to research it to see where the .desktop files are kept.
You can rename that file so it doesn't start on first boot, and then my SSH
suggestion should work.

Subject: [raspberry-vi] Install Kali on Pi 4
Hi all,
after years playing with Raspbian/Raspberry OS, that I installed
headless without problems a lot of times, I decided to switch to Kali on
my Pi 4 (4GB model).
I found some indications online, so I downloaded Kali 64 for Pi 4, wrote
image on microSD, then put ssh and wpa_supplicant.conf on boot partition
(the only manageable under Windows), but something was wrong, because Pi
did not appeared on my network (it's connected to wired LAN too).
Do you have suggestions?
Thanks.
Alberto
