I am not sure if your package will work but you can unpack a tgz file fine.
If you have everything installed. If you can run tar and gzip you can
unpack it. If you can't then install them. The command is
Tar zxf myfile.tgz

I am a new raspberry pie owner. I bought the Raspberry Pie 400, I SSH into
it and got everything running. Speech works fine through the HDMI and I can
switch it to a USB if need be.
My problem is, I want a better voice and I can't get anywhere on finding a
voice to use for orca. I got the ETI package, but for some reason I can't
unpack a TGZ file on ras.
Anybody had any luck on getting a better voice for Orca by chance and if so,
can you give a run down on what to get and need to run in terminal to get it
up and going.
