I suspect Snapcast would work well with your jukebox. Snapcast creates a
FIFO pipe, then you just send raw PCM audio to it as you would any other
audio device. I have MPD piping its output, then I also run the Snapcast
client to pick up on the synchronized audio stream, along with the Pi's.

Currently we use a bunch of Google Homes (which are awesome by the way),
but you have to specify the audio group every time you request a song,
and it's a little annoying.
