I am not trying to be dense, I swear,  but that is exactly what the %u
is for. Want the port named ##: xyzpdq   then the bulk port field would
look like this:    %u: xyzpdq  

 

From your code it looks like you want it to be ## instead of %u ?

I wanted to be able to customize where in the "Local name" and "Visible
label" the count appeared.  Below is a diff of the changes that I made.
You just put ## where you want the count to appear.
