Colin, it is not as important, as that the function is really becoming
deprecated according to PHP online documentation:
"Warning
This function has been DEPRECATED as of PHP 5.3.0 and REMOVED as of PHP 6.0.0.
Relying on this feature is highly discouraged."
This particular build just triggered the warning earlier. I need to get rid of
it before major builds also pull this change in.
