Dear Alchemical Poets,

To submit the poetry you'd like to bring to our workshop tomorrow on 3/27
at 7pm ET (can be 1-2 poems written by anyone other than yourself), please
sign up and paste the poetry in our shared Google Doc if at all possible.
The Zoom link is on the last page. If the work is published online, you may
drop a hyperlink to it. If you are planning to read from a physical book or
journal, see if you can scan it, otherwise you may list the name of the
poem and poet you plan to read:

We expect the event to last at least 2 hours. We will start with
introductions and a short meditation. Then we will take turns reading the
poems each of us brought, exposing ourselves to a diverse variety of
poetry. Inspired by our readings and discussion, we will then dive into a
writing session. Afterwards we will give everyone a chance to share what
they've written.

Attached please find our poem of the week - "Brave Bull" by Charles
Bukowski. We'll choose the next 2 poems of the week together during the
workshop!.

Also, don't forget that April is National Poetry Month! Are any of you
interested in participating in the NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Writing
Month) Challenge? Basically, the challenge is to write a poem a day
throughout the month of April, rain or shine. It's a lot of fun especially
if we do it together as a group and share whatever we write (knowing they
are rough drafts) in a supportive, safe space. Please reply to this email
if you want to participate and we can set up an exchange!
