[pythonvis] Has any one had success with smtplib

Hello my name is Lee and I have been a member of this list for a long time. 

Have any of you had any success using the smtplib module? 

I am attempting to send a email message through gmail and I am receiving
10060 error.

Is there a api that works with gmail?
