Yes, NVDA is not reading the output automatically or with Screen Review Mode.
Thanks,

Not sure if we're getting the point here. William, are you saying NVDAList web page is
does not automatically read output of commands? Because yes, you can
use the review keys to read output, but it should also be echoed
automatically as long as it doesn't scroll off the screen.

<reynoldsdavid46@xxxxxxxxx>:
If there's a lot of output, you can make the output go to a text file,List web page is
and
then read the text file in the normal way, i.e.:
Python myfirstprog.py >myoutput.txt

With nvda, use nvda+arrows to navigate the output of the commands.
This is actual navigation in screen review mode if I'm not mistaken, so
you
can achieve it with switching modes or using the numpad keys to navigate
lines, words, letters and so on.

Hi All,List web page is
I'use a Windows 10 laptop with NVDA, and m getting back into learning
Python. I've been repeatedly told that the most accessible option for
executing code is a text editor and the command line; however, I am
unable to hear or read the output of commends in Windows Powershell or
the built in command prompt.
Those of you who use a similar set up, have you had similar issues? If
so, how did you deal with them? If not, what command line tools do you
use for best accessibility?
I am happy to hear any tips you all might have to resolve this.
Thanks in advance,
William
