Thanks Rod, Yes, it has a massive 75in wheel base, but the beam is the core of the modular frame and cannot be cut for this purpose. The trike wheels can be slided back / forth quite a bit to vary the wheel base, crazy turning circle at its shortest. Plus the mounts are not as rigid as the welding joints, so may contribute to the difficulty. Once I achieve some decent balance, I plan to make a compact folding one to go in the trunk.
