Hello,

    There is Mont saint Michel to see not far from St Malo and also the
coast around and small cities like Cancale. In any case you will find plenty
information at your hotel or at the St Malo " Syndicat d' initiative"
(Tourist information office).
    There is no problem shooting historical sights ( if you to not used a
tripod and 4X5) and also in the street.
    Wish you a nice stay it is a lovely part of Brittany and I like it very
much
