I always wondered if engraving would cause corrosion.
Stainless steel is funny stuff. Evidently you do not have a problem.

and matched until I got them to not leak. I then got a diamond-tipped
engraving gizmo and numbered them 1, 2, and 3 so I no longer mix them up.
I also use Jobo tanks and reals and they do not leak. But for 35mm, the
Nikor tanks are the easiest to load, but the Jobo (in a CPE-2) are
easiest to use. For me.
