People don't realize that the lids an caps were individually
fitted and are not interchangible. Unfortunately, they are not
marked. It is very difficult when buying used tanks to tell if
they seal although if the caps and lids are _very_ tight or loose
one can tell. There may be a way to expand or squeeze them to
make them fit but I don't know how. The factory may have had a
way, maybe someone has the secret (if there ever was one).
I have not tried a wrap of tape to make the lids fit but it
might work.
