Thanks Ralph, I have been using this timing table from the book WBM by you and Chris quite often during my printing sessions. I'm glad you made this sheet available as it means I don't need to keep the book opened at the same page. Of course I could have photocopied the page, but I just never though to do so. One thing I would really like to compile (to get around my perceived lack of time to spend constructing the great test strip printing mask as described in WBM) is a table that gives me the exposure times for doing test strips by using only one piece of card that moves across the paper in steps to gradually expose more of the paper. Hence the exposures accumulate. On the topic of time management, I find it impossible to put a price on my time, and with the impending arrival of our first child, I'm gonna have much less of it soon ! If there's a chore or repair job that really needs doing around the house (e.g. mowing the lawn, fixing a flyscreen) yet I keep procrastinating, I've worked out a novel way to increase the chances of me doing it. I try and convince myself that I can't do a particular thing that I like such as doing a darkroom session until I've done the chore. Sure this requires some discipline, but at least I'm more motivated to do the chore as I look forward to the reward. The mind is indeed a mysterious entity - especially in light of the way I think I can trick myself ;) regards Peter On 09/02/06, Ralph W.
