Hi!
I got around to developing one of the Panatomic-X aerial 5x7s with the
Graflex SLR
and a pinhole of .018 inches at a focal length of about 7 inches. The shot
is just
out the window with the window frame and lots of depth. The 16 minute
exposure
shows some shadow detail in the bark of the tree in shade. Maybe the 13
minutes tray development with 10 second agitation/minute @70 degrees F
was too long, denisity built up quite a bit. I was able to monitor the
development with the No. 3 satelight filter to check development
progress.
I'll venture outside with the Graflex with 15 minute exposure
as a base in sunlight.

Richard, the problem is I ripped the curtain out years ago. It's
still good with a lens and using the mirror up/down to expose. Or
using a shuttered lens.

the shutter. They are pretty simple, you may be able to fix it. The 5x7
cameras were once the standard press camera, usually a "Home Portrait
Graflex" with a shutter modified for higher top speeds.
