I always had bad luck rewashing prints after incidents and if there were imperfections in the gelatin, they were still there after washing and drying. I would wipe it with an acid free cloth or better yet, just blow on it and reframe it and of course retouch it as needed. Its not that great of a print, but its one I didn't want damaged. Well I got by when the glass broke, but I forgot to buy a new glass and now the print is dusty. Ideas on the best way to clean it before replacing the glass. A quick wipe with a dry paper towel or a lens tissue probably is the safest, but would it leave particules that could cause problems later. Would it be better to just take the print out, rewash and redry? Thanks for your help in advance.
