Thanks Robert. My practice it to shoot, contact print, and then make
workbook 8x10s of anything that catches my attention. These are scans
of those workbook prints. They're not necessarily great nor are they intended
to be
perfect, just "pretty close" so that I can later decide which of these deserve
enlargement and wall hanging.
I hit upon this method because I was spending too much time on too few
prints I felt deserved to be on the wall. But a lot of other stuff never
got printed. This way, I have a record of the work - good and bad - and
can later scan the workbooks to see what "keepers" there are .
This also helps me document technical tests. For example, the RR spike
photo was actually part of a test roll I shot when I got my Fuji GA-645Zi
back from repair at Fototech in Poland (the only place that knows
how to fix the LCDs on these cameras!).
In any case, I like to share them here among friends. Others of you
should be doing the same ;)
